<p>EC: Dance since i was 3 (taught at studio for 3 years; i'm on competition teams), Speech and debate (3 years, state champions each year), varsity ice hockey (4 years, state champions junior year), varsity cheerleading (jr and senior year), key club (10-12), maine medical center jr volunteer (over 200 hours), youth ministry member, religious education teacher, organized an "easter blessing day" for the parish, modeled in fashion show to raise money for a student aid fund for disadvantaged students, cheerleading camp counselor, NHS member, math team member (junior and senior year), member of prom committee, and i've held various summer jobs.</p>
<p>Essay: Wrote about starting in a playoff game for hockey; totally unexpected and how i felt that was the like, best manifestation of all my hard work and made playing the game worth it. It's pretty good.
Colby Essay: Wrote on the mandela quote; wrote about how i had to play offensive line and protect my neighbor/basically mortal enemy the quarterback and win the juniors vs seniors powderpuff football game. My english teacher LOVED it. I'm a little worried because both of my essays were on sports...</p>
<p>Interview: We talked for fifty minutes, i think it went well. He asked me about like EVERY facet of my life, it was sorta intimidating. </p>
<p>Senior year course load: 4 APs, gym and ceramics (grad requirements...gag) </p>
<p>so do i have a good shot? i'm just a little worried about my senior year grades, they were very up and down (A in AP Gov, C- in AP calc)...but i did tell the interviewer that i was not really a math kid and taking the courses just to be prepared for the rigors of college.</p>
