I swear this is my last thread on the subject. Anyway, I'm currently attending a CC and I'll be graduating soon (have about 40 credits or so) and if everything works out, I'll have a 3.6-.65 gpa. My major is B.A with an accounting concentration, here are some schools I was looking at:

BU
BC
Northeastern
Babson
Bentley

I don't have a lot of ECs so far, but I plan on doing some community work and joining a few more clubs in school. Here's what I have so far:

part of a club to help undocumented students get informed
was on the tennis team in high school
Worked almost full time entire time while in school, sometimes 2 jobs

I know all those schools might be a reach, but I always have UMass to fall back on :)

In to Babson, dunno on the rest. The Zoo is a definite shoo-in. Try UMass-Boston, I heard they are building dorms and have had many prestigious graduates. Chance back please!

Anyone know what are these college’s requirements with regards to math? Because the last math class I took here at my CC was Algebra for Pre-Calculus which counts for credit, but I’m not sure is transferable. Would I be better off taking Pre calc? I know UMass Amherst requires you to have Business Calculus…

by the way, would bringing my GPA to about 3.7 help significantly? Because I just checked some of my grades, and that’s definitely possible depending on how I do next semester.

Hey giacomini, I don’t know what your stats are, but just to let u know, I am a graduate from a CC as well, and I just got in at Bentley, with a 3.76 GPA, hope that helps.
