Yes, Wake Forest uses superscores. You obviously will be a very good candidate.
Why do you want to go to Wake Forest?
If you are interested in business and investing, Wake Forest is a good fit, as Calloway is one of the best undergraduate business schools in the country.

The fact that it’s a small school located in the south with fantastic academics, an impressive athletics program, strong school spirit, and a low student to faculty ratio as well as a small undergrad population.

I’d like to study philosophy and economics, do you know anything about those departments?

Both of those departments are great. Really, as a Liberal Arts orientated school all of our programs are quality programs. I have heard nothing but great things about the Economics department and I know quite a few Philosophy majors who have thoroughly enjoyed their academic experience.

Yes, Wake Forest is unique, because of the great climate and the mix of academics and sports/school spirit in such an intimate setting. There really are not a whole lot of schools like it. Furthermore, the professors just are amazing and are really what makes this institution shine. I have never had a TA teach a class and the professors care so much and are so available and helpful. I just cannot say enough.

I would consider visiting it. That is what really sealed the deal for me. Also, you are probably a good candidate for merit aid.

That sounds fantastic!

Really, merit aid? I’m in the top 25% of my class, and the other schools I’ve looked at only consider those within the top 10%, regardless of how impressive the SAT score is.

Merit Aid isn’t based on any sort of percentile, scores or cutoffs like that. Scholarships and whatnot are not so predictable though. I would say, work on your essays and try to do really well in class. There is a separate application for most of the scholarships.
