GPA 3.81 Unweighted (school doesnt weight) B in Math. Two B's in History. Lots of B's in English.
Rank- 37/468 (unweighted GPA screwed me over but that's me making excuses. should be better)

Hardest available classes- AP History Calc Stats English Spanish and Government.

SAT
June- 800M 630 CR(misbubbled i think... oops) 770W - 2200 total
Retook in October to get the CR up (think I got 700ish). Math and writing are pretty much the same I hope.

Will take Math 2 and US History and maybe Physics in November- Hopefully I'll get 800M and 750 on the other two. I probably wont take Physics though.

Essays- Mediocre imo but I like my academic and social communities one.

Recs- I think these will be really good.

I don't really do a lot of stuff but I really like the stuff I do.

^ yea and i missed USAMO by like 2 questions on the AIME lol
in my defense… nobody here knows what AIME even is… like we just kinda show up and take the AMC… and i got my score and they said i qualified and i was like “sweet”. and then i didnt think about it again… Then i got like a 2 or something. lol
i know im not anything special… its mainly being from MT that im trying
thanks.

i think you have a decent chance…cr is a tad low but if you misbubbled then it shouldnt be a problem…you also seem to lack some leadership and that could be a problem…i would say most applicants have atleast 2-3 pres/vp/captain titles to their credit…but overall i think it’s a crapshoot like it is w/ most people

ps…dont listen to people who say you have no chance b/c thats just not true

you’ll have extremely good chances, as in 90% chances, once your CR gets to 650 or 660(which I believe is their 25th percentile mark). this is because you’re from montana. seriously, 2200/AIME/top10%/montana makes you about as rare as a unicorn. you’d have strong chances at Yale or Stanford in the SCEA round as well.

No misbubbling would not be a 200. The sat has three sections that make up the CR section. So it would just mess one section up. And if you misbubble on question 20… It’s 4-5 wrong.

Yea I’ll take physics I think. And history and math also.

I think aime is a big deal(it is here anyway).

Umm… Are unicorns rare? I see them on tv all the time.

Thanks. Yea I know Yale and stanford are great places. But i’m definitely doing penn ed. First love…philly… sweet… transformers 2 (not really)… Yada yada

I took the sat. I got 720cr 800m 710 wr so now I have a 2290 superscore 720r/800m/770w. I was just wondering how much of a difference that’ll make.
Thanks.

Oh and I think I’ll get a 800math 2 and 740ish us history
Thanks
