i know this isn’t an excuse or anything but my dad died when i was about 11 and i came to america in the middle of 7th grade. when i got into high school, one of my moms friend that used to live with us had to leave. so when i was a 9th grader, i had to cook and take care of the house. My mom had to work a job that paid under 20,000. (which was the reason my average was a 88.5 as a freshman) (sophomore average: 95.5) (junior year: 1st term 100.5)

I have seen many people put up stories that show the difficulties that they faced so i thought i should share mine also

At least until you get your SAT scores, you should stop worrying about this and keep doing what you are doing. You will get into a good school–a very good school–when your stats are a bit clearer, then you should start thinking more seriously about what will be reach, match, and safety schools for you.
