<p>roughly 80 out of a class of roughly 500 (96.6 GPA; plan to graduate with it 98+; slacked my freshman year :[ ) 3-4 AP classes this year (if schedule is accounted for by admissions) 3 year varsity member on the tennis team 4 year student council member of a top 20 ranked student council in Texas (ranked by TASC) (5A school) also the student body treasurer of this student council NHS member 2.5ish years once I graduate not sure how many hour community service exactly... but definitely slightly above average amount of hours</p>

<p>Anything I might be forgetting? Also wondering: how much would it help to get a 2000+ SAT score? What else could help me out significantly?</p>

<p>I’m a friend of Jackelope. He’s trying to get in to Cockrell for Computer Engineering.</p>

<p>Rank is really holding you back, but I don’t think you can do much about that now. Increasing your SAT score will definitely help, Cockrell only looks at the M+V sections. Everything else looks amazing, but Texas puts a lot of weight on SAT/rank.</p>

<p>yeah your rank is gonna hurt you. My numbers were actually a little better than that rank and sat wise and they offered me cap. I would imagine that’s what they’ll give you too. as far as 2000+ sat score, mine was a 1990, so I’m not sure it would help. It’s not that you’re not qualified it’s just that with the top 10% rule they have VERY limited space, that’s why they have cap in the first place.</p>
