Chance me please

-I'm a sophomore and I'm interested in either going to college for nuclear engineering or political science, both interest me.

I'm in the top 10% of my class with a 97 GPA as a freshman and i didn't take school seriously and so far as a sophomore my GPA is a 100 and this is weighted and i don't know how to put those numbers in GPA style format.

So far I have taken 12 Honors Classes(2 of them were half year classes) and 3 electives.

[Sports] I made varsity soccer (bench player) and tennis( #1 singles) as a freshman and obviously sophomore, and run the one mile in indoor track where i hit times of 5:15's.

I plan on running for vice president for my class for junior and senior year, most likely will win.

I plan on joining NHS at the end of this year and eventually in the future running for president or some position.

-If I decide to go down a path of engineering I'm thinking about Georgia Tech and University of Illinois both good engineering schools.

-If I decide to go down the political path I'm thinking George Washington University where my two grandparents on my mom's side went to and my mom also went to. Also Georgetown even though they wouldn't like that jk they dont care.

-Reaches most likely not gonna happen JHU and Duke

-Any advice on the schools or anything.

keep studying and come back next year.

alright, i heard the party life sucks there, is this true?

Well it’s a state college with 13k undergrads. If parties are your thing, I’m sure you could find people to party your life away with, but there are also many students heavily invested in school and studying b/c it IS a top engineering school.

And if you have an idea of what your SATs will be, I could give you a better idea on your outlook. If you get a 1900+, you are pretty much guaranteed admission if you keep up the 97s and 100 GPAs. As for UIUC, you should be fine too as long as you are somewhere in that 29-33+ ACT/1900-2160+ SAT range.

I’m thinking im in the 1900 - 1950 range.
