<p>hey i was just wondering what others thought of my chances of getting into Binghamton which is my number one choice.....</p>

<p>my sat scores not great 1200(1600)
gpa 3.4 unweighted
taken honors math since entering highschool
excelence awards in physics
take 2 ap. ap calculus AB and AP u.s. history
Varsity Basketball-Captain (awarded Most Dedicated)
Varstiy Baseball- Captain (awarded Most Dedicated)
Varsity Soccer- won championship
Habitat for Humanity
went to israel to volunteer as a counsleer in an impoverished neighborhood
3 excellent recommendations - one from dean of students, one from AP Calculus teacher, one from English teaceher....please be honest i want to be a realist not a dreamer</p>

<p>This year the Suny schools are hard to predict. There have been alot of articles about how applications are up 50% because of the economy. There have also been posts on CC about the number of triples in the dorms this past fall because more people than expected actually enrolled. Governor Patterson announced tuition increases and budget cuts to SUNY just yesterday. My son applied, but also included a couple of the other campuses that might not be so crowded.</p>
