<p>Race and gender: Korean male</p>

<p>State: Texas</p>

<p>Extracurricular: UIL academic competition, marching and concert band, peer tutoring club, president's council, DECA.
I'm an officer or leader in all of the activities above.</p>

<p>Hobbies: golf, workout, skateboard, teaching myself piano.</p>

<p>Awards: 9th in state for UIL, 1st in region for UIL, National merit commended, AP Scholar with Distinction, and bunch of local awards from UIL.</p>

<p>Volunteer: Library aide, peer tutoring, nursing home -total of like 50 hrs?</p>

<p>Work: bagger in a grocery store for 6 months.</p>

<p>Essay: I don think it's amazing but it does the job. plus im not a native speaker so i can't really write stellar essays.</p>

<p>how the hell do you get a 2340 on your SATs but you aren’t a native speaker and can’t write a good essay…doesn’t make sense?
Did you just study really hard for the SATs?</p>

SAT is just reasoning test.
so studying vocab and learning the grammar rules did the job for me.</p>
