4.0 GPA
Psych major
All prereqs done for UCLA and Berkeley for psych major
REALLY Lacking in the extracurriculars, but I just started a very small club (nothing to do with psych) at my CC about 2 months ago (president/founder) and had about 4 months of work experience
Personal Statement was decent
Part of UCLA TAP
IGETC certified before transfer

Will be applying to UCLA, UCB, UCSB, UCSD, and UCI

3.9 GPA Psych Major (damn science class)
Completed all req for UCLA
Transfer student
I haven’t done much extracurriculars either. But I’ve played the piano for about a year, have volunteered for several charities, and participate in a French student exchange every summer.
I played on the mens and womens lacrosse teams in high school.
I have never had a job since school was always the first priority, but I did a shadowship with an interior design firm in Los Angeles about a month ago.
And Decent personal statement as well.

I feel like I’m forgetting something… but those are the basics this moment.

Although Psych is an extremely impacted major in any of the UCs, both of you should be in since your pre-reqs are completed and your GPAs are very high.

I’m flipping a ***** because I know I’m on the slippery side of acceptance so I’ll throw out my stuff (again) and see if anyone can help me fall asleep (though I probably won’t sleep a single night till april)

middle east studies
studied 50 credits at uni in the middle east. Got a 3.2 gpa but I clarify in my statement that it was because I fell seriously ill before finals (don’t know if they’ll care much?). started cc this fall and I’ll have a 4.0 by the end of the semester. Lots of extracurriculars + working full time. Personal statements are bombtastic.

Any shot at UCB? I’ll ride into Davis and SD on TAG anyway and I’m applying to UCLA but Berkeley is pretty much it…if I don’t get in this time around I’ll pull another semester or 2 of cc to raise my grade
