I am Asian, lived in US for 4 years
SAT: CR 530 Math 750 W 450
GPA: 86
Taking honor physics, Ap Calc, Ap stats, college accounting
i do not know whether i applied for any thing, like harpur or other stuff.
intented major is business

First of all, they place you in harpur/another school depending on your intended major.

Your CR SAT score is a little bit low, but your math makes up for it. So your SAT scores could be on par. However, your GPA is pretty low for Binghamton. I believe that you need at least an 88/90 GPA to be a solid applicant.

Depending on your ec's, essay, recommendations...etc. I'd say you do have a good shot.

thanks, i know my GPA is a little low.... but my overall average for my junior and senior year is at least above 90

Then in that case, there is a good probability. But keep in mind, it IS getting more and more competitive.

I would think that you'd be a prime candidate for SOM... That's a sick math score you've got. I was deferred into SOM EA with a 680M, 620CR and 630W with a 95 weighted average.

I think I've got a decent shot getting into SOM RD, but I don't really care as much anymore since I was already accepted into schools with better ugrad business programs than Bing's.

Good luck anyway, MingDaddy.

Oh shoot, wow, you've only been in the US for 4 years... I suppose that could partially explain your low CR and W scores.. That could help somewhat, but why is your GPA that low?

my grades could not catch on when i was a freshman, because i don't even understand what teacher was saying......
but after a year, it got better and better, it is easy for me to get a 90 above.
my english grade was like 75 two years ago
