So me and my girlfriend are interested in applying to universities next year together (no criticism, please... I clearly understand the effects of this)... I just wanted to know what you thought of both of us being admitted into the following schools. My stats are better than hers, but she is Hispanic, which I hope would compensate. I am White.
Me - 3.8 uw, 4.3 w, 35 ACT, 2250 SAT, 800 Math 2, 790 Spanish, 730 Bio E, excellent EC's
Her - 3.7 uw, 4.1 w, 2000 SAT (will retake in the fall), 730 Chem, 710 US History, good EC's
The schools are:
Oregon
Washington
Wisconsin
Michigan
North Carolina
USC
Virginia
Rice
Brown
Cornell
Duke
Northwestern
Penn
Stanford
UC Berkeley
Vanderbilt

I will chance back :D

bump
nobody wants to chance me.

I’ll chance you! Hold on one sec

You’ll both probably get into all the schools up to Virginia. After that, I’d say that you have a shot (but no guarantees without knowing your ECs), but your girlfriend’s stats are a little low…
