<p>Hello, I'm a current senior applying to colleges and was just wondering what colleges I might get into. I'm applying to these schools: Purdue, University of Illinois, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, and Penn State, and am trying to get into their engineering programs (Computer engineering specifically).</p>

<p>High School:
I have always taken a very rigorous schedule, and combined have taken 16 Honors and AP courses (not including senior year). My senior schedule is the following: AP Language and Comp, AP Physics: Mechanics, AP Biology, Health, Honors Social Research, Astronomy, Comparative Religions, Honors Calculus.</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars:</p>

<p>Karate - Have been active in Karate since I was five. Have been a leader in my karate school for about 5 years.</p>

<p>Hockey - Have played hockey since I was six, and have played for my high school since I was in seventh grade. Have been captain 4 times.</p>

<p>Model UN - Numerous recognitions at conferences. Have participated for 2 years. Team leader as a senior.</p>

<p>National Honors Society - Was recognized for grades and community service. Inducted into NHS in Spring, 2013, and have participated in several events in community service.</p>

<p>Latin Club - Participated in Latin club. Led several projects including a scale trebuchet (which actually worked, it was pretty cool).</p>

<p>Essay
My essays are good and have been reviewed by several teachers.</p>

<p>Im from Ohio and there are kids with a profile 1/2 as good as yours getting in to OSU with ease</p>

<p>I should mention that I’m applying to OSU Scholars and PSU Schreyers Honors College</p>

<p>Schreyers is a different application. It won’t affect your admission chances</p>

<p>As for the others, Purdue seems like a match/Highmatch </p>

<p>UIUC - Low Reach/High Match</p>

<p>GATech: Reach/LowReach/HighMatch Range (Depends on this years applicants)</p>

<p>UIUC would be a reach for you. The mid 50 ACT is 31-34 mid 50 SAT CR+M is 1360-1480. Both your score and GPA are too low for UIUC engineering.
