I recognize my stats may not be great but I don’t know if my extracurriculars are good enough. Please be brutally honest and thank you for any input! Also would not having subject scores be a problem?
I think you have a great chance, the main thing that stands out to me is raising 250k, that’s very impressive. If you did that yourself or created the organization yourself, that is extremely impressive; however, the AO might be suspicious because it is unrealistic for a high schooler to single-handedly raise a quarter of a million dollars, it would be good to have some proof for that in supplemental rec or supplemental information or additional info. It seems to me that the organization as a whole raised that much money and that you are not the founder of the organization , which is less impressive.
However, your UW GPA is low, that’s the main weakness you have considering tons of vals will be applying to hopkins. Subject test scores would obviously help, especially for indian males, but it won’t hurt to not have them; it would just give you a small boost to have them. Good luck, I’m sure you’ll do great, and take everything with a grain of salt because I’m not an AO!
Thanks for the feedback! I did not found the organization but I am a leader for the organization and raising the money was under my oversight. Im not sure about how impressive that still is, but I’ve communicated that I’m not the sole person who raised the money in my application. And thanks again!
I’d say low chances - I’ve interviewed some ED applicants that were rejected with better stats and ECs on paper (international awards such as IBO silver medalist with 4.0 and 1550+ SATs). As indicated above your GPA and SAT are below average/median. RD acceptance rate is around 8% - no one therefore has great chances. Make sure you apply to safeties.
