dude you're a rising junior. wait a year. i posted a chances thread going into junior year and realized how pointless it was. junior year is the most important year. you're onto a good start though.

ok thank you. If you can't chance me if possible some advice would be nice.

bump!! anymore advice anyone??

idk, just make sure not to bite off more than you can chew because between the ap self studying you'll also need to focus on the standardized tests (SAT 2s, SATs, etc).

also, it would be great if you could start up a local math competition in your area. However, it's probably going to be very difficult (i know from similar experience) and it might not be in effect until next year if you don't work passionately towards it.

Good luck on all of your APs this year, I suggest starting to really study a couple of months in advance to ensure that your scores are where you want them. It looks like your taking 5 next year and I realize that is rediculously hard, but you might also want to consider self-studying human geography (i did and you really need no more than a week's intensive study to get a 5). It can only help.

If your junior year goes as you hope it will, then you are a great shot for all of the colleges you like.

sweet thank you. I am really interested in starting a math/science competition in my area and I have some people willing to help me out. How do I go about starting it? Do you have any tips? Thank you for the post.

u could go to any ivy league college u want, i admire u sat scores i need some advice on how u got pretty good sat scores cause mine are pretty bad and i wanna go to columbia. aim higher always

i got good at sat by tutoring and reading the books.now I need some serious replies please. because getting into any ivy league college is very unlikely. but I will take it as a compliment.

bump! anyone else?

oh I will be taking 1 extra ap class junior year if that helps (ap bio)

Wow, great stats so far, but this really is a prediction, and chances are things wont go as you would want it to. Also, what did you get on your AP exams? Are you sure you want to take only APs next year? You do know that taking 13, 14, or 15 APs wont make a difference when colleges look at your application, just make sure you do well on the exams, and don’t let the classes drop your GPA.

As far as ECs go, you are doing great, you have passion as well as showing all-roundedness. Good job!

You’re looking in good shape for a good college, just keep it up, and try to commit to all the things you said you are going to do next year.

Cheers,
