On a final note, I am going to major in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering w/ maybe Mech engineering (if i do get in) and I will be in class of 2017. Is there anyone here who MIGHT become my 'major-mate'? :D :D pm me or something! I am from Singapore.

To the kind souls who are going to chance me, Thanks again (:

Really good chances, idk about that gpa but your scores are good.
are you instate? if not, then don’t count on too much financial aid, but i like your chances

You’re a match. The SAT II scores won’t factor in much, but 800s still catch the eye. Your 1450 SAT score is above average as well. I don’t know about your GPA, but judging by your AP scores you probably did quite fine enough in your classes.

And try to make your essay(s) better than just average, haha. You have a very good chance.

He said he is from Singapore

Last time I saw the stats, it is very hard to get in as an international.

I actually did not notice the Singapore bit stuck in the end there. Usually people give their location near the beginning of these.

In that case, that definitely makes it a lot tougher. I still think you have a chance, but less than if you were in the States.

Solid match, but do not expect any sort of merit scholarship unless you are a US citizen. Apply EA. Last I checked, Michigan was ranked #1 or #2 in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture.
