<p>I think that you have a pretty good shot. I am recent admit for Sociology to UCLA (however I was rejected from UCB and also accepted to UCSD) and had a 3.79 GPA. You are right around the average, write a GREAT essay and try your hardest to bring your GPA up a little more just to be safe and you should have a great shot. Good luck!</p>
