Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I am currently a student at a SUNY community college and plan to transfer to Rochester Inst. of Tech. Saunders school of business. I am in the middle of my third semester and currently have a 3.88 GPA and am on track to finish this semester with all A's. I will do two more semesters at my current school to finish my A.S. in Business Admin. but plan to apply to RIT next December (once my Fall 14 grades are updated to my transcripts) for the Fall 2015 semester. I'm not in any clubs or sports (but I plan on joining my school business club next semester.) I am a nontraditional student and also a veteran if that matters. What are my chances? RIT dosen't seems extremely selective unless your applying to engineering, or game design programs. My gpa is pretty solid and I would have no problem getting good letters of recommendation, essay, and interview. Is there anything else I could do to increase my chances of getting into RIT? Thanks!

Any information on some of the average GPA or credentials of accepted RIT transfer students?

I went to RIT. Not sure of stats but a lot of students transfer from area CC’s or Suny schools. Many people think RIT is easy to get into which may or may not be true but staying there once you get in is the hard part. I would think you have a pretty good shot at getting in

Thank you for your response. I have heard the same thing about once you get in is the hard part.
