Chance Me: Tulane, Brown, Michigan, Miami OH, Miami FL, Pepperdine, UCSB

I am a junior at a competitive private Catholic high school who will be applying this fall and I was hoping you guys could make a rough estimation on my changes of admission. I'll chance back!

Chance me at Tulane, Brown, Vanderbilt, Michigan, Miami OH, Miami FL, Pepperdine, UCSB, and USC.

The stats
GPA: 3.95W/3.65 (7-point grading scale, will be converted to a 10-point grading scale, so I expect my UW GPA too look more like a 3.8 or 3.9)
(Instead of 93-100 being an A, the conversion will make 90-100% an A, which will dramatically change my GPA)

RANK: 22/153

ACT: 30, will be taking it again (35 English 33 Reading 28 Math 26 Science)

SAT: Haven't taken it yet. (Yes, I am from the midwest!)

PSAT: 190

EXTRA CIRRICULARS:
3 years as Class President
Student Body President (most likely) next year
Peer Minister (chosen and trained)
4 (2 varsity) years of football (F/JV captain, hopefully captain next year) - 2010 state champion
4 (3 varsity) years of lacrosse (hopefully captain next year)
2 years of basketball (F captain)
Worked at a restaurant, health club, country club
Plenty community service
2 time essay competition finalist (G.R. Ford 'Courage', Economics Club)
7 years of piano (awards, competition)
Award-winning journalist (3 years school newspaper) - Editor-in-chief next year
Founding Young Investors Club
1 year of choir

Visited USC, Pepp, Tulane, MUOhio, Michigan, Brown and loved them. Took the health program tour.

My father/brother graduated from USC and my brother is a sophomore.

I've taken 20 honors/AP courses to this point currently in AP English, AP Biology.

Next year: AP Psychology, AP Economics, AP Government, AP English, and maybe AP Chemistry.

If that GPA increases as you predict, it’ll bolster your chances nicely.
Your extracurriculars are also excellent.
If you improve on your ACT, your composite will probably get you in just about anywhere.
I suggest a prep course for the SAT if you aren’t taking one already. A 190 on the PSAT is nothing to sneeze at, but you can almost certainly do better than a 1900.

CHANCES:
Miami-Ohio, Pepperdine, UCSB, and Miami-FL: Low target/In
Michigan: Target
Vandy, USC: Low reach, although for USC legacy is going to help you out a bunch.
Brown: High reach. You’re good, but Brown is looking for outstanding; I’ve seen extremely diverse and talented people with great scores and perfect applications get turned away.

Chance me back, ¿por favor? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1118399-chance-theatre-acting-inclined-junior-ill-chance-you-back.html#post12333784

Thank you for such a fast response!

I realize Brown is ridiculousy hard, and the only reason I included it was due to a strong family connection.

I’ll be sure to chance you back.

Anyone else?

if your scores increase slightly i believe you will have a great chance at all of these schools, except brown, just because its a crap shoot for anyone. best of luck! chance me back please!
