<p>Your GPA is about average for UIUC while your ACT score is far below their average of 30. It would be a low reach to reach for you.</p>

<p>If you work on bumping your ACT up to around a 30, you’d have a very good shot of getting in. You GPA is good enough to get in, your courses are rigorous, and your E.C.'s look pretty good. It seems as if you did most of your E.C.'s for only a few years. Did you have any leadership positions in the clubs/sports? If so, that would look good. Concentrate on getting that ACT up, and there’s no reason you wont get in.</p>

<p>Good luck to you. Aim for 30. Other schools you may consider in the midwest region are Purdue, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. There are several programs that would waive or reduce oos tuition for Illinois students.</p>
