You need to calculate your UC/CSU GPA, see link: <a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU;
Your Unweighted GPA and SAT/ACT scores are too low for UCSD/USCB/UCI/UCD. Averag UC GPA is 4.0+ and SAT at least 1900+.

Cal Poly SLO uses your 9th grades in their GPA calculation along with a alogrithm of bonus points to determine admissions. It is all done by the computer, I have attached a link.

You did not mention your intended major??? Engineering/Architecture/Business/Kinesiology/Biology will be extremely competitive, so your major will make a difference on your chances.
My younger son applied last year for CS with a 3.73 UC GPA/4.0 Weighted GPA/3.4 Unweighted GPA and ACT 31 and was rejected.

SDSU uses the Eligiblity index to rank their applicants and will start with the highest EI in each major and then accept until all the seats are full. To calculate EI= (UC GPA x800) + (SAT Critical Read + SAT Math) or
(UC GPA x200) + (ACT composite x10). You want to aim for at least 3800+ EI (SAT) or 900+ (ACT). If it is an impacted program such as business, biology, engineering you want higher EI’s.

UCI/UCSD/UCD/UCSB/SLO: Reach
SDSU: High Match (depending upon major)

I would suggest you consider CSULB, SJSU, CSUF and CPP as other possible universities. Good Luck

Forgot to add in my major but it is going to be accounting and finances

I believe only UCI/UCR offer Business Admin or Business Econ as a major. The rest of the UC’s have Economics or Managerial Economics at UCD. I would focus on SDSU/CPP/SJSU and CSUF for good accounting programs. You should also look into USC and Santa Clara.
A friend’s son is a recent graduate from CPP in Accounting, was able to obtain an internship his 3rd year and he received a job offer after graduation. He has been promoted twice over the last 2 years and is doing very well.

You may get into UCD.

SDSU is impacted in the business majors and your scores are not competitive for those programs. You may want to try some of the other CSU’s.
