I’m applying to UCB, UCLA, UCSD (Dream school), UCD, UCI, U Dub, UW Madison, Georgia Tech, and WUSTL.
Our school is somewhat competitive with a class size at about 500 kids. If you have any suggestions for which colleges to apply to, please let me know! THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Could you recalculate your UC GPA? The UC GPA is usually lower than the Fully Weighted GPA if you have taken more than 8 semesters worth of APs/Honors.

You have a solid GPA and good test scores to guarantee you into atleast one UC. Heres what I think
UCB: Low Reach
UCLA: Low Reach
UCSD: High Match
UCD: High Match
UCI: Low Match/ Safety
U Dub: Match/ High Safety
Georgia Tech: Low Rech

All you really need is a great personal essay and bumping up your UW GPA senior year with you first semester grades. Have you thought about applying to Johns Hopkins? It may be a reach for you but it’s a great bioengineering school. Also consider USC and Harvey Mudd for you majors.

If you could chance me back that’d be really cool! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1798840-chance-me-for-ucs-ill-chance-back.html#latest
Good Luck on you app!

Good ACT score and subject test scores but higher GPA would be necessary to be competitive in UCB, UCLA, and UCSD. Strong EC’s. I’d say (only for UC’s)

UCB, UCLA= Low reach
UCSD, UCD- High Match
UCI- Match/Low Match

I’d suggest UCSB as a place to apply as UC applications are increasingly competitive each year.

Chance back pls- http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1798848-chance-for-ucs-and-others.html#latest

You need a better GPA for UCB, UCLA, and UCSD. I’d say you have a pretty good shot at UCD, UCI, and UCSB. I dont know much about the other schools but I would highly reccoment retaking the ACT and getting a higher score on the math section especially if your applying for engineering (at least a 34).

Chance me back?

Agreed with above. Your UC GPA is usually not the same as your exact weighted. Try recalculating. But based on current info:
UCB/LA: Reach
UCSD: low reach
UCD/SB/I: solid matches
UCSC: safety
