Chance me — UCs!

I am an in-state applicant and applied to all of the UC’s except for Riverside and Merced as an economics major.

UC Unweighted GPA - 3.92
UC Weighted Capped GPA - 4.25
UC Weighted Uncapped GPA - 4.33
ACT - 30
SAT Math 2 - 750
My Personal Insight Questions - 8.5/10

I was captain of the JV basketball team, played varsity volleyball, worked as a basketball referee for 4 years, was in the stock market club, chess club treasurer, and did 4 years of academic decathlon. I’ve also done over 300 hours of community service raising money for orphans in Asia close to my family.

I qualified for ELC. For my Senior year, I am taking 5 IB courses along with AP Calculus.

Your extracurriculars are really impressive. ACT is ok but maybe a bit less for UCLA, UCB. GPA is in range too.

You’re a competitive applicant, especially cause you are in state!

I’d say UCB, UCLA are reaches but others you should have a decent shot.

Good luck
