@McCabe1996 you’ve a great shot in getting into all those schools. One thing that I may ask is, how did you keep your grades up after you moved across the country? I’m moving between towns in central NJ, and I need some tips on how to increase my GPA :)

For more, please chance me back. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1594388-will-transfer-better-school-help-me-get-into-my-top-schools-ea.html

I just kept my “fairly” good work ethics. Nothing really changed for me in terms of doing my hw, studying for tests, etc. I guess my advice would be not to get intimidated by a new school and to reach out for help whenever you need it

Great advice. And I made a geographic miscalculation: the school I currently attend is in North Jersey, while the town I’m moving to is in Central Jersey

Berkeley and UCLA might be a little tough for you to get in (especially Berkeley), but I think you’re fine for San Diego
