Right now I am thinking about applying to either las or bus. My dad died when I was 12 and my mom is an immigrant from mexico. My brother has autism so I also do some charity for autism speaks.</p>

<p>Your stats are very competitive, and as a U of I alum, I think you have a very good chance of getting in. However, as you probably know, the college admissions game is becoming more complex. Nothing is certain, and I certainly would not want you to get any false hopes based on chance posts on this website. You obviously go to an outstanding high school. I went to Lake Forest High School. I know that Stevenson is a highly reputable school in the country. I wish you the best of luck. Go Illini!!!</p>
<p>You are match for UIUC. You may consider other schools at similar level such as Wisconsin, Minnesota, Purdue, and perhaps UMich. You may try one or two reach schools like the Ivies but the chance would be very low.</p>
<p>I think you would be a very competitive application for UIUC LAS or Business. But I wonder about your senior year schedule - why are you not continuing with Calculus or Spanish?</p>
