Congratulations on all of your accomplishments so far!

I think you stand a chance to be accepted at U. of Michigan, but it’s not sure-thing either. I would definitely apply and see what happens, but make sure you apply to other schools as well, with at least one where you are extremely likely to be accepted, can afford, and would be happy to attend.

Have you thought about Michigan State? It’s location in the state capital would probably really helpful with your interest in public policy.

1300 is low for Michigan. See who got accepted from your instate school and what their scores were as a comparison. Have saftey /backup plans
