I suspect UNC, NCstate, UF are matches, and the rest are reaches, but
I have a few more questions before I chance :
What is your class rank or estimate?
What AP classes have you taken or are you taking? What were your scores of the ones completed? How does your course rigor compare to other top students in your class?
I am top 10-15 percent of my class. I will have taken AP World History, Chemistry, Psychology, Environmental Science, European History, and Biology. I made a 3 on World History, Environmental Science, and European History. I made a 4 on Psychology and Chemistry. I made a 5 on Biology. My coursework is above average.
Agreed. Could see Wake as Well. UF and NC State are highly likely.
If low income, why Florida ? Why not an in state option like App State ? UF is an affordable public school but not from a need/merit POV, especially OOS.
An Alabama or MS State would be much better from an affordability POV. FSU would be as well as you’d likely get an OOS waiver. Good luck
Ok, that’s great! You should get in to UNC . Wake may be a lower reach/match for you: they tend to like NC applicants so spend a lot of time on meaningful essays there, as well as lots of time on the other reaches.
Since Rice is on your list, check out the Rice Investment program for financial aid:
It’s fairly cut and dried regarding that your aid will be should be get accepted. It’s a reach school for everyone but your stats seem to be appropriate for consideration!
