Teacher Recs: should be good
UNC is my dream school so if you comment whether or not you think I’ll be accepted, declined, wait listed, or deferred, that’d be awesome. Sorry if there are typos, this is being typed from my phone. Thanks!
Make sure you take the ACT + writing. I would give you a 65%ish chance at be admitted. If you’re not admitted you’ll definitely be waitlisted though, I think.
Weighted GPAs and ECs are excellent, but I think the UW GPA and the rank might be a touch low. Make sure the recs and the essays are killer. I’d say around a 70% chance or better too. Thanks for chancing me
Weight gpa, scores, and ECs look great. If your high school is ranked very highly, but would not be recognized by UNC admissions, make sure you inform them in your essay. Try to do so without seeming like youre seeking pitty. Your lang teacher should help you do this, and ultimately form a strong essay. I think you have a great chance, and I wish you the best of luck.
You seem to be a good fit for UNC, especially because you go to a competitive school and are in state. Make sure your essays are strong, but I think you have a really good chance of getting in
I think you are in good shape. UNC tries to keep some geographic balance from within the state so i there are a large number of people from your HS or county applying it might make a difference. I say that and my D and 25 of her classmates from a class of 400 are going to UNC_CH next years who knows.
