bump
UNC pretty good chances, match. Duke Vandy very high reach, UVA probably also a high reach because you’re out of state
What is your ACT without super scoring? Where did you see that Duke superstores ACT?
my composite is a 33 without superscoring. there’s a bit of a typo since I originally only had duke and UNC in the title of the post, but then i added vandy and UVA last second before posting. disregard the note after the act score. duke’s policy states “For students who choose to submit the ACT with writing, Duke will consider the highest composite score and highest scores on each section, regardless of test date, but will not recalculate the composite score.” (http://admissions.duke.edu/application/instructions#testing) applying to trinity btw @sgopal2
You get a small bump as a NC resident. Are you applying Pratt or Trinity? What is your intended major?
@sgopal2 I’m applying to trinity as either a econ or compsci (it’s in trinity, I asked during the tour) major. Keep in mind that I also go to the most difficult and competitive public school in north carolina
So you’re top 20% at a premier public school in NC. Good but not great. ACT is 33 which is near 50th percentile. Applying for one of the most sought after majors in Trinity. No other hooks.
I think you have a decent shot. Good luck.
