And it’s not always necessary to go to the top school.
My calc teacher got his doctorate from St.Cloud State.</p>

<p>UMN really depends heavily on your GPA/Class rank and SAT1/ACT scores as there is no essay, SAT2, or recommendation required.</p>

Worked as a cashier, do DECA, 3 years varsity soccer, club soccer captain, and volunteer at the local animal shelter.</p>

<p>Carlson is extremely competitive. I have higher stats, and I’m applying to Carlson as my number 1 choice, but I’m expecting to get into the College of Liberal arts and transfer.</p>
