low at UVA, 25 is not gonna cut it

definitely agree with you, it’s a reach school for me. I’m really hoping to get my ACT up multiple points. Do you know what my chances are for University of Tennessee (Knoxville) though? I live in Tennessee, by the way.

For Davidson (see https://www.davidson.edu/admission-and-financial-aid/class-of-2020-profile), ACT Middle 50% for accepted students is 30-34, so 75% of those admitted have at least a 30. Likewise, 85% of accepted students were in the top 10% of their class. Those who don’t meet these thresholds are mostly URMs and recruited athletes (Davidson is Division 1, and roughly a quarter of their students are athletes).

UVA out of state is also an extreme reach for you.

You stand a very good chance at University of Tennessee (see http://colleges.startclass.com/l/4051/The-University-of-Tennessee-Knoxville#Admissions&s=1g2AzB).
