Chance Me? Upcoming School Sophomore Aiming for the Ivy Leauges

Hello! I am currently a high school sophomore aiming to get into an Ivy Leauge school. My dream school is Harvard, but I’d love to know my chances for any of the Ivies! I would also love feedback about how to better improve my resume and chances of getting into one of these schools.

Gender: Female
Ethnicity/Heritage: White, but my mom is Puerto Rican so I can apply as Hispanic technically if my chances would be boosted.
State: Florida
Unweighted GPA: 4.0
Current APS completed (as of Freshman year): AP Human Geography
APS Registered for Sophomore Year: AP Lang, AP Bio, and AP World History
APs Intended for Junior Year (though I plan to dual enroll Junior and Senior Year): AP Spanish, AP Chem?, AP Lit, APUSH, AP Calc AB, maybe another science AP or maybe AP Psychology, whichever would look more impressive tbh.
APs Intended Senior Year: AP Spanish, AP Calc BC, AP Govt./Economics, AP Environmental or AP Marine Bio? Not sure yet? But I may dual enroll for many of these I’m not sure.
More facts:
I am in the law magnet at my school, and intend on becoming a lawyer. As my electives for this magnet I am required to take Speech and Debate, Comp Law, Courtroom Procedure, and AP Government and Economics, as well as completing a summer internship for law. My school offers three prestigious magnets as well as a medical program.
I plan on sticking with a language throughout high school. I entered as a freshman taking Spanish 2, as a sophomore will take Spanish 3, and then will take AP courses the next two years. I hope that will show depth and commitment.
ECS:
I have been dancing competitively at a studio outside of school for 12 years (15 by the time I graduate). While dance is not where I want my life to take me, it is still something I am passionate about and would consider continuing into college as part of a dance team, not a major.
I was also a member of the dance team at school, and plan to continue with it for the next 3 years of high school, and maybe even have a leadership/captain position my senior year.
My law teacher has approached me about being on the mock trial team, so I intend on being a part of that from sophomore-senior year, which would amount to a total of 3 years on that team, and hopefully gain a leadership position my senior year. I feel this would complement the law magnet nicely, and also my interest in becoming a lawyer.
I’ll have my required internship Senior year, which will also hopefully complement that as well.
I also plan to be a member of NHS, (which you can join Junior Year at my school), have two years on that, and maybe attempt to become an officer.
This summer I have volunteered for two weeks at a reading and writing camp for kids, and I hope to continue to do that in summers to come.

A little additional about me: I am very strong in school because I put forth a lot of effort. My teachers tend to like me, and I also test well and feel like I could ace my SATs and additional subject tests with some preparation. I am very focused and goal oriented and will do anything to succeed.
So what do you think my chances are of the Ivies based on my current stats, and how can I improve! I feel I still have time to grow my resume and make it the best it can be.
Please tell me what you think! Thanks!

too early. During Junior year you will discover if you are really Ivy worthy or not. At this point, no official testing has been done to assess your ability.

This analysis might eventually be of interest to you, and could broaden your options:

Impossible to really tell without test scores. However, I can tell you your chances are not very good at Ivies because nobody’s chances are good at Ivies. Even people who are legitimately geniuses lol. Keep doing what you’re doing but please please please know that the 8 Ivies aren’t the only good schools. Seriously. Please trust me. There are at least 20 other schools that are at basically the same level academically. For example, most people will tell you Stanford and University of Chicago are just as prestigious as, or more prestigious than, every single Ivy League school. Trust me I was in the same situation as you a year ago; I was anxious to know how good my chances were at getting into top schools. But had I asked for chances I guarantee nobody would’ve been able to give me an accurate prediction because I didn’t have SAT results and I was still building my extracurricular profile. So overall I get that you are a very good student and I’m sure you’ll end up at a good school. But try not to think too much about chances just yet. Instead do a lot of research on potential fits for you. Maybe schedule visits to some schools to get a better idea of what they are like. Then once you have your scores pretty much set in stone you can have a better picture of how competitive you are. Good luck

You sound like a very driven student, which will take you far. Yes, it’s impossible to properly estimate your chances at an ivy without more scores. Part of what I think you’re asking is if you’re sizing up to be a competitive applicant at a top25 school- and you are, by the looks of it.

Keep an open mind about school choice in the coming years. I know that you have a strong idea of your future and your possible future schools, and that’s a good thing. Make sure you don’t let the process of preparing for your goals overwhelm you.

Keep working hard and breathe. You’re doing all the right things!

I echo the other posts on this thread. But if you wanna go to Harvard, you’re gonna need at LEAST a 1550 or 34. I know you say you can ace these things, but don’t be too confident. Most smart people think these tests are below their intelligent standards and then perform poorly. Do a lot of practice and maybe it’ll happen, but never assume you even have greater than a small chance at getting into these places. No one has a good chance, not even geniuses.
