I actually did early decision, and I was under the impression the acceptance rate is about 38% for ED. I am also the Danforth Scholar nominee from my school. I’m considering PNP.
Thank you for replying!
Great grades, even better test scores, and very competitive school with a lot of rigor in senior year. Your STEM grades suggest you’d more likely go hard science than PNP but I doubt the school choice would work against you. Applying ED it seems like the odds are in your favor, though it’s very hard to assume your letters of rec or essay will be considered outstanding - sometimes we think we impress people more than we really do.
Thank you so much! I only say they were good because my teachers and I were very close. But you are completely right- I have no clue. Thanks again for the feedback
ECs are fine-nothing out of the ordinary and typical of what a high achieving student would do if they don’t have national level awards/ECs (Regeneron STS, Siemens, Science Olympiad).
Here’s WashU’s policy for credit on IB exams. Make sure you take the tests and do well. You can get up to 15 credits towards graduation/major requirements.
