Safety (certain admission and affordability)
Likely (would be possible, but very unlikely or surprising, for it not to admit or be affordable)
In terms of your grades/rigor/test scores you look competitive at these schools, however, without the other information it is hard to gauge your chances. All of the schools you have listed are reaches for every student with the possible exception of William & Mary which I would still consider a high target/low reach. What major are you considering (if CS every school becomes even harder)? This list should be expanded to include targets and safeties instead of just reach schools. Otherwise you risk being shut out. Also, are these schools affordable for you? They are all very costly and most provide mainly (or only) need-based aid .
W&M is your best shot on that list because you’re in state and Virginia sets aside seats for VA residents. The rest are all reaches for anyone. Every year straight A students with perfect SAT/ACT scores get turned down at multiples of those schools every year. An application to them is like buying a lottery ticket. You might win, but you wouldn’t want to bet the farm on it. You need some target schools that you really like. Targets and safeties are where you should begin with constructing your list. Otherwise the reaches become a distraction to finding target schools that you can fall in love with
As others have said, you have one “high target” and that’s it.
So if you’re thinking - the drop off is big after W&M and UVA, then apply to strong schools outside such as UMD or UF. Or find solid liberal arts with a better chance such as Macalester, Davidson, Occidential, etc. Or a U of SC and its top ranked Honors College.
Many compare Miami Ohio to W&M and having been at both in the last 6 months, I understand why. Miami is much bigger but the feel of the campus and overall isolation are similar.
In short, add a 100% school you can feel good about.
Is this correct? Are you taking an aggressive courseload. A lower weighted GPA would indicate this is not the case. Please check your GPA for accuracy.
