For SUNY Binghamton, Cornell, NYU, Fordham, Penn State, NYU AD & Shanghai, Dartmouth, St. John's University :)

GPA UW: 3.5
SAT: 2150, 750 CR, 700 M, 700 W
SAT US History: 780

EC's are ok, probably the same with the essays later on

I chance back!!

Dartmouth’s a big reach; Cornell a more reasonable reach; Fordham’s a solid match with a chance of some merit aid. Are you a resident of PA or NY? That would be an important distinction, but I think you can get into both Binghamton and Penn State, regardless (provided you aren’t applying to any ultra-selective Honors programs, or for scholarships - then state residency would determine chances). I think NYU Arts & Sciences would be a solid match, but Stern would probably be a reach. I have no idea of what the admissions scenario is like for the overseas branches of NYU. St. John’s is a safety.

St. Johns is your safety for sure, then NYU is your main match… As for Dartmouth and Cornell, they’re high reches:)

St. Johns - Safety
Dartmouth - High Reach (any of these top schools are reaches for anybody!)
NYU - Match
Penn-State - Semi-Safety
Binghamton - Semi-Safety
Fordham - Semi-Safety
Cornell - High Reach (albeit a lower reach than Dartmouth)

Thanks everyone! Chanced back those who linked already!

I’m an NY resident btw. Does anybody have any idea how admissions are in NYU’s overseas campuses like Abu Dhabi and Shanghai? Are they more or less the same as NYU in NY?

Cornell and Dartmouth are super reaches because of your GPA, but miracles do happen!
You have a very good chance at NYU, fordham and penn state, mostly due to your high SAT score. My friend got into NYU in 2013 with a 3.5 GPA and a 2050 on the SAT.

St. Johns - Safety
Dartmouth - Extreme Reach
NYU - Match
Penn State - Low Match/safety
Binghamton- Match
Fordham - Match
Cornell - Extreme Reach

Would be more accurate if I knew your weighted GPA.

Good luck! Chance me back!
