I’ve never done one of these before, but I just want to get an idea of where I could realistically be going next year, thanks in advance!

GPA: 5.1/6.0 (W) competitive high school (dramatic improvement from shoddy freshman and sophomore years visible in jr year, if that helps)
Scores: ACT: 34
SAT I: 2150 (to be retaken)
SAT II: Math II and US History (to be taken in May)
APs: 4 - Euro (will have Calc AB, AP US, and AP Lang by next year, as well as a predominately AP senior course load)

I’m not worried about my recommendations; I’m considered to be a well-liked student by my teachers. English and History are my strong points and Math and Science would definitely be where I’m weaker.

Intended Major: History or International Relations
(Very prestigious, unique summer experiences related to IR)

Extracurriculars:

Fencing- 6 years
Newspaper Editor- 2 years
Varsity Speech Team- 3 years
Indian Classical Dance (currently in the dance company)- 11 years
Arabic outside of school (I’m most interested in the Middle East, specifically Israel/Palestine)
National Honors Society/ Spanish National Honor Society
Peer Jury- 2 years
Peer Leadership/Conflict Resolution Team/Ethics Education Leader- 3 years
Board Secretary for a womens/childrens based charity - 3 years

Work experience:
Secretary at a medical office - 2 years

The most unique thing about me would be my summer experiences with kids from conflict regions worldwide, but I’m really worried about my low frosh/soph GPA hurting my chances at different schools. I’m currently thinking of applying to: Brown, Tufts, Boston College, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Barnard, Michigan, Illinois, Lehigh and Bucknell.
