<p>I'm a transfer applicant.</p>

<p>Basic stats:
white female, Connecticut
ACT: 31
SAT: 780R/680M/730W</p>

<p>Secondary school stats:
small, private, all-girls prep school. ~50 people in graduating class.
GPA: Upward projectory. 2.8UW freshman year, 3.9UW senior year.
APs: Psychology 5, English 5
Rank: school doesn't rank, but was easily among top 5 people in the class.
ECs: fencing (1 season), volunteer work at an elementary school several times a week (1 season), theatre (2 seasons), horseback riding (2 seasons), tutoring a Chinese student in English (1 year), varsity ski team (1 season)</p>

<p>Undergrad stats:
freshman at Wake Forest University
Fall courseload: Latin Prose (3 credits), Elementary Greek (4), Elementary French (3), Medieval World History (3), FYS Germanic Myths and Monsters (3), Lifestyles and Health (1 credit, required by university)
GPA: Haven't gotten my grades back yet, but I'm guessing around 3.75-3.85.
Planned spring courseload: Roman Epistolography (3), Elementary Greek (4), Elementary French (3), Intro to Linguistics (3), Intro to Economics (3), History of the German Language (3)
ECs: Amnesty International, Young Americans for Liberty (libertarian organization), Jefferson Society (political discussion club), volunteer work at a local magnet school</p>

<p>Do I have a reasonable shot?</p>

<p>Ah, I forgot to mention my senior year courseload in high school:</p>

<p>Honors Latin 3, Spanish 2, AP Psychology, AP English Literature, Honors Calculus, Ancient Greek and Greek Philosophy (listed as an independent study), Economics (semester-long), Russian history (semester-long), Social and Political Philosophy (semester-long).</p>

<p>I had an A in all of the with the exception of Honors Calculus, which was an A-.</p>

<p>OK. Lucky for you (and me BTW.), McGill does not take into account Freshman year HS grades (nor extracurricular activities). They also take special consideration to HS grades that are related to your major.</p>
