^^Yes, you’re a bit premature. See how you do junior year in your classes and on your standardized tests, as well as whether you serve in leadership positions in your ECs. Then a more meaninful assessment can be done.

I would say 0, since you’re not applying this year.

Please tell me English isn’t your first language.

If you are a native speaker, you’re trying /way/ to hard and using “big” words in all the wrong ways.

I have to agree. If you write your college essays like that, the admissions officers are going to have a really terrible time reading them.

Other than God or Jesus or whatever, is there anything that you actually care about–anything that makes you unique? Because just looking at what you showed, you look fairly boring. And having absolutely nothing to make you stand out is not a good thing when you’re looking at top-25 schools.

Luckily, you have a year to do a little bit of soul searching. Have some fun, try new things, and you’ll be in a much better place next year when it counts.

Um what? Where on earth was religion even mentioned?? Going to a religious private school is not at all out of the ordinary, and really has nothing to do with his acceptance. He’s listed plenty of ec’s, and doesn’t seem boring to me (except the ridiculously weird writing style).
