Can you chance me??

<p>Hi, I am an upcoming senior from a pretty competitive school in NJ, and I am a bit paranoid about my chances in colleges. Here are my stats.</p>

<p>Stats:
GPA: 3.72 W (I had some problems in freshman and sophomore year... But my GPA does show upward trend and I took mostly honors and AP classes to help me. Doing the same as a senior and pushing for 3.9 final GPA)
SAT I: 2100
650R 750M 700W 10 E (I will retake and aim for 700+ R and 720+ W)
SAT II: 620 Bio-E (Will retake along with chem, Aiming for 700+ each)
APs: US History, Lang/Comp <--- Scores coming soon</p>

<p>Senior Courseload: AP World History, AP Bio, AP Lit
Pushing for AP Calc AB if my schedule permits it</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Science National Honor Society
Newspaper Club
Varsity Soccer Team
Science Club
Science Association (Different from club)
Chess Club</p>

<p>Volunteer:
Milal Mission: I volunteer at a place to take care of disabled people and teach them basic english, math and the abilities to cope with their illnesses better. About 60+ hours
School Library: I am volunteering in the library my senior year every day. Then I may apply for a job at my town library depending on how my experiences are.
Church-related organizations: I volunteer as a teacher/leader in a church program for the elementary/6th grade group. </p>

<p>Now for the colleges I am planning to apply to...</p>

<p>Boston College (EA)
Lehigh University (EA)
Villanova University (EA)
Colgate University (RD)
Boston University (RD)
Northeastern University (RD)
Rutgers University (RD)
NYU (RD)</p>

<p>Recommendations:
Biology Teacher (One of my all time favorite teachers)
AP Lang/Comp Teacher (Also one of my all time favorites)
Pre Calc Teacher
Maybe Chem Teacher
Spanish Teacher </p>

<p>Major: I am thinking in the fields of...
Neuroscience
Biology
Astronomy</p>

<p>Thank you for your help and have a good day~</p>

<p>What is your unweighted?? that would be more helpful than the weighted.</p>

<p>Ah… our school does not have unweighted you see… that’s why I am scared that my GPA unweighted (4.0) scale is really low…</p>

<p>Out of 100 scale, I am about 88. Will this help?</p>

<p>yea on a 4.0 scale your GPA is pretty low, about a 3.3. Most of the schools are low-mid reaches for you. I’d say you will get into Rutgers, probably BU, possibly NYU and i could see you getting into Nova and probably Northeastern. So good luck!</p>

<p>Chance me?</p>

<p><a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1359833-chance-umiami-will-chance-back-very-desperate.html[/url]”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1359833-chance-umiami-will-chance-back-very-desperate.html&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

<p>Are colgate and Boston college reaches for me? If so, high reach or low reach? Please elaborate :(</p>

<p>Please help mee:(</p>

<p>Colgate is probably a mid to high reach for you (it is on my match list and I have 3.85 unweighted). Boston could go either way, probably a low reach. You need to find some safeties/matches, schools where the average GPA of an admitted student is the same/lower then your GPA (around a 3.2-3.3 uw). You can do this by going on the college match app (I think that is the name) on here and plugging in your stat. Also what are you looking for in a school (your list is sort of scattered), I can suggest schools if you know what you want.</p>

<p>AP scores came out! 4 in english and 3(quite disappointing)
Can anyone chance me?</p>
