<p>Im applying for chemical engineering at rutgers:
international student, pretty good essay,
1810 sat: 610 math, 590 reading, 610 writing</p>

<p>i dont really know my gpa as we dont calculate it here, but i have
an average of around 5.3 out of 7 (thats how its calculated here)
i also take ib ( International Baccalaurate) which is like AP but it is the british system,
im not sure if they take this into account but it is a highly respected course around the world
i take chemistry, economics andhistory at high level
and maths, english, spanish at standard level</p>

<p>I think you might get accepted but it will take some time. They like to wait and see the applicant pool first.</p>

<p>The IB program is very well known among colleges here so you don’t need to worry about it.</p>
