Chance Me

<p>Hi Folks,</p>

<p>I'm a white male and applied EA to Hillsdale this fall. I am very interested in Hillsdale and plan to visit and interview in January. I've looked around at many of the CC threads here, and would like someone to chance my app. Any and all input would be great. Thanks! Credentials:</p>

<p>I'm currently a Senior at a competitive public high school in Massachusetts.
SAT I - 660 CR, 700 W, 670 M
SAT II- 710 US History
Of 274 in my grade, and I am in the top 15% of my class. I have a 3.80/4.5 possible.</p>

<p>Taking both AP economics tests this year, AP Calc AB, and AP French. I am in all honors this year, and most of my transcript is in honors classes. In addition, I will be doing an independent study in US Government and Politics this Sem 2. I plan on majoring in political science or economics in college. Can't wait.</p>

<p>Pretty good. It’s competitive and the acceptance rate was much higher when I enrolled ED, but you seem to be a better student than I was (though I admit I’ve never heard of a 4.5 GPA scale). Just don’t miss that interview and you should be set. You might even ask about scholarships for running or music.</p>

<p>P.S. On that musical note (pun intended), I highly recommend joining the men’s group Mu Alpha–not to be confused with Phi Mu Alpha. Trust me. From one bass singer/piano player to another.</p>

I’ve been more and more impressed with the crop of new Hillsdale students each year, especially once I meet them. They are natural-born leaders.</p>
