<p>I'm a rising junior at a highly ranked high school in Illinois. I'm enrolled in all honors and AP classes and i've gotten all a's and b's (mostly a's) except for one C in honors chemistry (which i'm so nervous will ruin my chances of getting into my dream colleges). My weighted gpa is a 3.98, my unweighted is a 3.67. I haven't taken the act or sat yet, but I took the plan test which is like an indicator of how you might do on the act. I got a 28 on the english section, 29 on science, 19 on math, and a 26 overall. I'm involved in a scholar program at my school, a writer for my school's newspaper, a member of my school's choir, and I do a lot of volunteering with kids and the local food pantry. I was on homecoming court freshman year. I am also going to a summer college program at Stanford University this summer. My dream colleges that I would like to get accepted to are George Washington University and American University. What are my chances? (I'm also thinking of applying ED to gwu). I'm terrified that my one C in honors chem is going to ruin my chances :(</p>
<p>The ACT score will really ruin your chances actually, especially the Math part - 19 is tooo low for any sort of engineering. You really need to pull that up, or take the SAT. </p>
