<p>Hi all, I'm looking to apply to LSA for Comp Sci. next year. I'm an in-state white male. What do you think of my chances?
UW GPA - 3.7
I had a really bad 1st semester sophomore year, but I have a really strong upward trend from there. Also I have had a very vigorous schedule, I've already taken 5 AP classes and plan on taking another 4 senior year. Besides AP, almost every other one of my classes have been honors.
ACT - 35
5s on AP Human Geo, Stats, and World History, don't know what I got on Lang or MicroEcon yet</p>

<p>My ECs are good, but not great
I participated in a Constitutional Studies competition where my school went to nationals in DC and placed 6th overall
I've been on student council for all four years
I've rowed crew for four years
NHS</p>

<p>While the GPA is low, your ACT should make up for it. You’ll get in. You could possibly get deferred to regular, but I really that you WILL get in. Write excellent essays and get some good recs</p>
