<p>Hi there! I'll be applying as an international transfer student for Spring 2015 and was wondering what my chances would be like. </p>

<p>My GPAs for my college courses are: 3.81, 3.33, 4.0, 3.67. However my drop from a 4.0 to a 3.67 was because I was taking an accelerated summer program with Calculus II as my only subject and only got an A- in it. My CGPA is 3.70.</p>

<p>I held a few leadership positions in highschool and volunteered in a HIV rehabilitation center as well as a refugee community. However I don't have a lot of post-secondary ECs.</p>

<p>Also, how important are the application essays? I've been worrying over it the past week. </p>

<p>GPA looks good. Don’t worry about EC’s. Show your command of English (proofread for grammar and spelling) and that you are interested in UW in your essays.</p>
