Hey College Gal, I see that you’re new as well! Im also applying to UMich RD and have done a lot research in regard to the admissions at UMich and will chance you to the best of my ability in the following post- Stay Tuned!

It seems that you have a fairly good chance. Your GPA slightly below average, whereas you excelled in your ACT. You score your essay 9-10 which puts you ahead of the game! As well as being a female in a mostly male field, I would say you have a damn good shot. Good Luck!

Thank you for your response, I really appreciate it! I’m hoping for the best, but I really don’t know much about the Michigan admittance process. Good luck to you as well! I’m looking to submit my app this winter break.

Out of state student with ACT 31 and GPA 3.83 applying to LSA would be a low reach for you. Both your GPA and ACT are slightly below admission average. Note that the mid 50 ACT last year was 30-33.

Thanks for your input! I took the ACT again this December and hopefully improved my score. Do you know if UMich superscores?

UMich doesn’t superscore ACT, only some other schools do like CMU. I think you’ll have some trouble judging from what I can see. You definitely want to work on those essays to boost your chances. If you can raise your ACT that would definitely be a boost.

Chance back?
