GPA? Which schools?

4.0 GPA, Ivies , Stanford etc

Everyone calls ivies, etc. reaches for everyone, but honestly i feel like they’re matches for you, lol

You are a very qualified applicant with a good chance for an acceptance(s) but I feel no one is a Match for these schools. You will probably get accepted to one or more but each school is very different and they are looking for applicants that best fit their school. Good luck

Better shot than most. But no one is a match.

@anan235qwerty

You look like an amazing young person. Let me give you some advice. Thousands upon thousands of very bright students from India, China and other countries apply to the Ivy League schools every year and don’t seem to realize there are more than 8 top schools in the USA. Acceptance is harder for international students, so it would be a good idea to apply to schools that don’t see as many students from India that could possibly offer more money or give you a better chance of acceptance.

What do you want to study?

I’d like to study Computer Science.

What about scholarships?

At top school, financial aid is not very abundant. You may be able to receive financial aid (as I feel you will definitely get into some, if not most of the schools listed) however I doubt you will receive full tuition.

  1. No one is a match at Ivies and Stanford.

  2. You are at a disadvantage as an international student needing financial aid.

  3. Stanford typically accepts about 64% of those with a 2400 SAT (according to a mailing we received from them last year). You don’t even have a 2300. You are a solid candidate, and students get accepted to Stanford with a lower SAT than you have, but you should be realistic. It is CRAZILY hard to get accepted to Stanford and most of the Ivies (and they are ALL reaches for everyone).

  4. You really need to put some non-Ivies and non-Stanford schools on your list. We can look at your record and be impressed, but there are just TONS of students just like you. My daughter graduated from high school two weeks ago, and there were 15 in her class of 334 with ALL As in high school, and most of them took lots of AP and honors classes, so I would say ~12 of them are highly competitive candidates for Ivy League schools/Stanford; and that’s just one high school. Are there students with almost exactly the stats you have at Ivy League schools and at Stanford? Yes. But there are a lot more who are equivalent who didn’t get in.

Good luck!
