Chance me?

Hi, so just to preface this, I understand that college confidential is full of these kinds of threads, but I’ve been really anxious lately thinking about college, so hopefully someone can help me out.

I absolutely adore Dartmouth. I’ve visited once already, and the atmosphere was so amazing. The quarter system works great for finding internships which I love, and it fits my list perfectly for everything I’m looking for in a school. My list is basically moderately sized to smaller schools, really engaged student body and active environment, lots of outdoorsy and athletic activities, and great for students who plan on going to medical school. Because of this, I really think Dartmouth is a great fit for me.

I’m a junior at a private high school in Illinois. I’m female and caucasian.

My stats are:
-3.75-3.8 GPA UW (depending on how well this semester goes) 5.4 weighted, my school’s scale is really weird, so just go by UW GPA
-33 ACT taken the first time in April after studying for awhile, I’m retaking this in June and hoping for a 34-35
-top 10 percent of my class, my school doesn’t send rank, but they will let schools know if you’re in the top 10%.
-Most rigorous schedule possible, all honors and AP’s. Juniors can only take 3 AP’s at my school, but next year I’m taking 5.
-I have 200+ service hours at my local hospital and continuing to work there until I apply to schools.
-I got a position doing cancer research at UChicago’s medical school this summer, it’s a high school internship thing I applied for, really looking forward to it.
-I play varsity lacrosse and run varsity cross country, both for all my years of high school so far. (JV for both until this year)
-President of NHS next year. (all of my next year things are votes that were cast like last week, so it’s for sure)
-President of Model UN next year.
-Yearbook editor since the beginning of this year.
-Debate team captain.
-Future Doctors Leader, this is a club that helps kids interested in different professions get mentors and experience in their desired field, i’m the leader of the medical branch next year.
-Service Club President
-Liturgy Club, I’m catholic and this club helps organize masses and works with a school for disabled students and coordinates their masses.
-I help teach the Sunday school classes at my church.
-I’ve had two jobs so far, I work in the summer as a lifeguard and for awhile this year I worked at the mall.
-Not really an EC, but I have a mentorship with a current surgeon and have job shadowed her multiple times, it was a really great experience. She gave me a lot of insight on the medical field and how to succeed, and I plan on incorporating a lot of that into my essays.

A lot of my main interests are in medicine and politics. I do a lot with my clubs like Model UN (I was one of the first female members and now the first female president, probably unimportant, but I thought that was kind of funny) and debate. Most of those are really just because I enjoy doing them, but I’m working on making my list sound a little less generic than it currently does.

So if anyone could assess my chances and let me know if I have a shot, I’d be really appreciative. Also, I’m planning on applying to Dartmouth ED, but if anyone has any other suggestions regarding specific schools, that would be great too.

bump

Average GPA of Dartmouth is 3.90, but your ACT score is good and if you can retake it and get a 35 it will be awsome! SAT subject tests??

Thanks for replying, my SAT II’s are an 800 on english and a 700 on US History
