Chance me!!

Hi! I’m a rising senior, here are some of the schools im applying to:
Emory (ED), UMiami, USC (cali), UCSB, Fordham, UMD, Tulane, Richmond, W&M

From westchester, extremely competitive school. lots of kids at ivies, second tiers, etc.

GPA 3.7, ACT 29
not sending APs, but I took US Hist Lang Micro, next year is Lit Stat Gov French Macro

I will take ACT again in Sept/Oct, hopefully for a 30 or 31. Im a 31 superscored so I am capable of at least a 30.

Extracurriculars are good, don’t need to list them all but I have in and out of school service, president of a club and a national honor society, 4 yrs of 2 varsity sports. Also been a writer for town newspaper for a while. Thx!

While you are below the 25-75% standardized test range for Tulane, USC, Emory and William and Mary, you still might get in if you demonstrate interest. Research the schools and indicate strongly that you would accept an offer of admission. Emphasize what different you bring to the table than the average quality applicant. The other schools you mentioned are all good as well and are not a slam dunk for you. Narrow your focus to 2-4 schools that you really like and want to make the case for. Best of luck to you!

I think you’re good, you’re pretty set for those schools (understanding that your ECs are good)
Good luck!

Do you think it’s important to show interest if I apply ED? Isn’t the point of interest to narrow down what applicants will actually attend the school
