BUMP

The UC’s will be expensive. Have your parents agreed to paying $60K per year?

I am sure my parents will be gracious enough to pay the out of state tuition for any of the UC’s I get into

You need to ask them. The California public schools prioritize admission for instate residents. There is political pressure to accept more California residents.

Also, your UW GPA is not considered competitive for UCLA and UCB. Instate residents also have that advantage.

There is NO available funding for non-residents.

Hooks are very specific, not something you think is a hook: Recruited athletes, legacy, large donor, celebrity status, first generation, and URM, (but URM status is not applicable to California public universities.) California has thousands of 1st generation so it’s really not a “hook” in California.

what do you think of my EC’s?
