Are you intending to be premed? If so, then definitely plan to budget for 8 years of university. This implies that you definitely should avoid debt for undergrad if you possibly can, and saving some education dollars for medical school would be a good plan.

I don’t know much about the SUNY’s, but from what I have heard you should definitely keep these on your list (and learn how to spell Stony Brook).

I agree that Cornell is a reach for you (if not a high reach). However, you don’t need to go there to get into a good medical school. Occasionally I see posts from premed students with a 3.0 or slightly less at a very rigorous school such as Cornell and I think “I wonder if they had gone to a less difficult school, and worked hard, if they could have maintained a med-school-worthy GPA?”. Of course which school to prefer for premed is an issue that is unlikely to be resolved any time soon.

Wherever you go to university, know that your premed classes are going to be very difficult.

i intend to go for a biology major but then apply to med school so yes. That is why i have been looking into bs/md program as well but I feel as these may also be a reach.

You should consider taking two SAT subject tests. Aim for 700s+. Your stats make you competitive for basically every school on your list, and if you get those subject test scores, you could even try applying ED to Cornell if you think you can write great essays
